ABOUT
I am a digital and traditional medium artist, designer and an art educator. I, also, am a retired military veteran that has turned my focus from a duty to the nation to one of local, state and community service. I am a husband and father with close ties to South Dakota and a strong dedication to the people of its communities.
I take pride in my ability to make valuable and meaningful connections with students providing an engaging and fun classroom and a thorough educational experience.
I have designed from the ground up and, also, instructed the Stagebarn Middle School Digital Arts Program for the past year. The class is a student favorite and has become an overwhelming success providing students with real-world, in-demand skills.
I have also volunteered my services to local schools and public service venues such as the Summerset Police Department. with their graphic design needs.
I currently hold a Masters of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Art, with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
I have served the U.S. for over two decades and now I’m ready to serve the communities of South Dakota, our students and their families. I specialize in digital design and photography as well as digital manipulation. I also have a strong background in traditional mediums such as clay and paint. I have the training and skills to to provide a well rounded and balanced Art Program to your students that includes traditional 2D & 3D arts in addition to providing cutting edge instruction in the digital art arena.
